Check Valve Chemical Compatibility

Chemical suction and compressed air check valves need to be replaced occasionally, but consider an alternate seal or body material if you frequently need to replace the standard check valve on your unit.

Check valve substitutions for new equipment are available at the time of purchase. Details below.


Most check valves are available with Viton, EPDM or Kalrez seals and stainless steel or polypropylene bodies.

  • PAA with less than 15% hydrogen peroxide

Check Valve Substitutions

Below are examples of common check valve substitutions. These factory-installed conversion part numbers must be purchased with a compatible unit.

Consult the parts diagram and options shown in the instructions for each unit to confirm the standard check valve. Some units include different check valves for foam and sanitize functions.
